A Surprise for a Smile
It was 3 rd march, around 11pm when a cake vendor delivered a surprise in my hands, a birthday cake with a bouquet. With my sister’s help, I had to conceal the excitement, which was oozing out, until the stroke of midnight when my brother would turn 28. Gifts that were all ready and we were minutes away from the midnight; the whole thing was setup in the most photogenic room of our house. And to my surprise, the clock wasn’t running slow, the moment came, with all the family gathered around bhaiya, my bhabhi was on video call, and we were all singing the happy birthday song.
